Game Completion 2018 #45 – Marvel’s Spider-Man

This is a dream come true for a Spidey fanboy like me. It’s an open-world Spidey game that doesn’t stray too far from the tried and tested blueprint we’ve seen since Spider-Man 2 in the PS2/Gamecube era, but one that polishes that blueprint to the nth degree and then some, and wrapped in a story with real heart.

I’m notoriously anti-collectables and busy-work in open-world games, but both the swinging and combat mechanics are just so much fun that here I was compelled to it. I highly recommend it.
