Game completion 2021 #40 – Super Castlevania IV

While I’ve enjoyed all the games in the Castlevania Anniversary Collection prior, their precise controls are very finicky. Super Castlevania IV fixes a lot of those issues (except stairs for which it merely improves) and offers a lot of new tricks, but almost of the point of making it a much easier game. Overall it’s a much prettier and functional version of what I’ve played before.
